I have almost completed the construction work on my 3 vessel SS AG kit but have a question regarding the recommended hole sizes for the hop filter in the boiler.

I have constructed a square manifold out of 15mm coppper tube and drilled many 2mm holes in the bottom edges of the tube. I am sure that I have read that 2mm is the size to use BUT I have also read a thread on here recently that suggested that 3-5 mm holes would be better.

Do I leave them as 2 mm or should I enlarge them ?

Thanks
Bob

I would leave them as 2mm. You can always increase them after your first brew if you need to.
