Hi,

I'm pretty new to brewing, i'll be starting my third this week. I've been playing about with my recipe idea and changed it based on opinions of the forum here. Link here:

Current recipe:

This is basically about opinions on hops and combinations. I previously had this recipe idea as 50/50 Citra/Mosaic. I figured i'd like something a little more unusual so I've gone for Azacca & Galaxy, leaning more towards being Azacca heavy (I've read Galaxy can dominate the other hops flavours a little).

I was wondering if this would be a good ratio? OR will it just be TOO tropical to enjoy? Would a piney flavour like Chinook help to balance the flavour a little?

Also do you guys have any more recommendations of awesome hop combinations for this APA/Session IPA style of beer?

:hat:

Its very much down to personal preferences with the hops, but I think the azacca/galaxy combo looks good - don't think its possible to be too tropical to enjoy :laugh8:
I'd suggest that you make the beer, enjoy it & then adjust the hops next time if you want to.
:cheers7:
