hop back hop rocket opinions

i know there is only a few ppl use this method looking for some opinions about flavour that out come from hops in hop back/rocket against boiling hops in the kettle and filtering out at the end

my understanding is that unless you using the hop rocket to recirculate during the boil then its used to impart aroma as an alternative to dry hopping post boil.
