merry christmas everyone,fancy doing a bitter extract kit and adding some hops,any ideas folks.I like coopers and betterbrew extracts,but will give something else a go.Happy new year to you all!

Fuggle and/or goldings hops, I've got a bog standard bitter on the go now.

If you are just adding hops to a kit you should google 'hop tea' or buy a flavapak from a brew shop. You could even buy some hops and simply dry hop the bitter, this wont add any bitterness but will increase the aroma. With the kind of hops used in bitter it would be hard to over do it and even if you did it would mellow out.
