while have a look at argos online i see they are doing homebrew bits

looking at the kits i cant work out if there are 2 can or dme but they are 2.8kg with hops

with a little search the price seem to go from 35 to 100 for the same thing from different retailers

In fact, if I understand UK law correctly, even if it DID contain alcohol it is still NOT illegal for a minor to attempt to purchase it. It IS however (or would be if it contained alcohol) illegal for the shop to SELL it to a minor. A minor cannot be charged with purchasing or possessing alcohol.
 
I'll stick with st.peters kits from my lhbs at those prices. And as suggested buy bottles from tesco with free beer in!
 
if you want a kit,,,,,, keep an eye on "tesco direct", coopers comlete kit is £69.99 at the moment but just before xmas it was in thier online sale at £39.99, I'm sure there is a sale due again soon.
