Er ... from the write-up "... home brewed alcohol ..." could equal "still"?

There is a possibility that the body found alongside "... potentially volatile and flammable items ..." had succumbed to one of the dangers of running a still; or alternatively, he may have died of natural causes.

Like the Aberdonian who got run over by a bus as he ran out into Union Street to pick up a 5p piece. The Procurator Fiscal declared that he had died from "Natural Causes"!

"It has since been established that the items were used in the production of home-brewed alcohol and did not pose a risk to the public."

Makes you wonder if the still killed him (assuming that's what it was) or if it was something else.

.

If he was distilling (dangerous, not legal) I wish they would write that and not that he was brewing (safe, legal). Doesn’t help the reputation of the hobby to see headlines like that.

I live in the town, will post when i find out what happened to the poor bugger
