I'm really hoping that someone on here can help me as I've emailed a couple of homebrew suppliers and haven't really got the answers that I need to connect everything.

My setup is standard, so gas to keep to beer chill to beer tower but I'm struggling for what I need to connect all the parts.

1. What type of connection to I use to attach my gas regulator pipe to the corny keg (both ends). The 1st picture below is of the end of the gas regulator pipe.
2. Likewise from keg to chiller (both ends)
3. From chiller to tower (both ends). I've got 3/8 beer/gas line but the line(s) attached to the tower are much smaller.
The pictures of the long connector below that was sold to me as a connector to connect the 3/8 beer line running from the chiller to the beer tower which has a much smaller line coming out of it and you can use it to throttle the beer flow, however the small line doesn't appear to fit the connector.

And advice/help/pictures of what i need would be really appreciated

That depends what your regulator is like, mine has a screw on John Guest fitting that then goes to grey gas line, then to another screw in JG fitting onto the grey ball lock connector that feeds gas into the keg. (note mine actually goes into a 4 way distributor but the pipes are the same).
Then on the liquid side of the keg, a black (liquid) ball lock connector goes to a screw on JG connector then to a reducer then a thin beer line, which goes to another JG fitting and screws to my beer tap.

Sounds like you need 2 ball lock disconnects, (grey and black), some beer and gas line, and some John guest fittings and reducers. I get my stuff from brewkegtap - great guys and very helpful team there.

Some bad pics of my set up
