depends on exchange rate of course, but just checked on quick link and 133 euro is just over £90 so Malt Miller better deal :!:

113 euro is pretty steep for Nordic/catering.fr...have a nosey at their German site, there's a 100ltr one on there for 46 euro at the mo...but don't ask me what the postage is
I may be getting old but weren't the 100ltr ones £60 max +p+p :hmm:
I think Robs prices are very keen, could save yourself the agro

EDIT....thought so, have a look here at their French shop 52.95 for the 100ltr +P+P :thumb:
Have you been looking at the right prices it's the 80ltr thermo box that's E113 :hmm:

Does anyone have the actual dimensions of this 100l pot? It says 500x500 but surely it must be bigger than this?

3.14 x 25cm Squared = 1962cm2 x Height of 50cm = 98125cm3 = 98.125 ltrs
Which is about right the 100 ltr pots never really hold 100 ltr and if you fill to 2cm below the rim thats 94 ltr and 4cm below rim is 90ltr etc

Nice one. Cheers.

Makes sense now it's explained like that.

Embarassingly, the last time I had to calculate the volume of a cylinder was...

...no, you dirty buggers it wasn't that...

...it was when I looked at the dimensions of those very pots and thought, "those dimensions don't seem big enough to hold 50 litres..."

Don't forget that if you're using one as a HLT you can't fill to the top anyway.
The liquor will expand quite a bit as it warms to the strike temp and you would have an overflow!
Guess i put around 90 lt in mine so even if it gets to nearly boiling it should still be ok.

Yes, in the past I have set the wrong mode on the digital timer and had a garage full of steam when you go to start the brew early in the morning!!
