Hi

I know I've asked about this sort of thing before but I'm trying to avoid using other methods such as water baths and towels to cool my FV down as I'm worried this will produce damp in the room.

I have asked about whether there are yeast that work at around 21-24c and I was told yes.

Now as I'm just starting out I'd like to know if there are any kits that will work at a higher temp.

My room where I brew is about 22-23c so in the first few days it may go higher in the wort.

Short answer is no! You don't want the temp to be over 21c or you risk fusal alcohols forming which you don't want!

Brewing at over 21c especially in the growth phases will result in the production of fusel alcohols to some extent. I'd you want to brew them then go ahead, but don't come back for sympathy when you are nursing the mother of all hangovers.
