High flocculation dry yeast for ales ?

Hi I have been using CML real ale yeast for a while now and been happy with it apart from one thing it does not pack down very well at times and when pouring even steady losing more beer than I should any suggestions as to which dry yeast packs down the best for ales etc
 
I found the CML real ale yeast was pretty flocculant. Anyway, Notty sticks to the bottom of the bottle like $hit to a blanket. I think S0-4 is pretty flocculant too

If you want to try a liquid yeast. The daddy of flocculant yeasts is the Fullers strain (you can get it out of bottles of Fullers 1845) WLP002/WY1968.) Its so flucculant it looks like cottage cheese

I believe Gervin yeast is mostly if not all Nottingham yeast. Packs down tight. Ferments well down to about 1010. And best of all relatively cheap.
SO4 is much the same in the way it behaves but a bit dearer.
US-05 packs down quite well after a few weeks in the bottle. Supposedly ferments to a lower FG.
They're all pretty interchangeable.

Yup same yeast differnet name. Notty is a good workhorse yeast as its fermentation range is from 14C to about 27C. I find it can mute hops a bit (fine in things like dark ale or bitters but not what you want for something like an IPA hop bomb). Its also pretty clean but than can mean it can be bland if you use it in everything

always been happy with the CML but does not seem to pack as well as some others. Which do you prefer M the wilko or CML real ale

wilko/notty because its more versatile. Ferments fast and clean, drops bright and has a huge fermentation temp range so you can also make pseudo lagers with it. Whereas the CML is **** for bitters, which is what I tried it in, so I didnt like it as I forund it has little esters and mutes hops. Its very malty though so I think this would be a perfect dry yeast for scottish shilling beers. I think it would be good for dark beers too
