Yep it’s something I’m definitely reading into. There’s so much information and so many pages on the forum it’s taking me a wee while to get my head round it all at the moment, enjoying it all though!

Look up Brew in A Bag as well it's pretty simple biggest issue is maintaining the temperature for mashing or so I found. The rest was easy enough to follow for small batch it's not a huge amount of work tbh

Yes temp control is hard for small batches, and you need to get it right to less than 1°c if poss. One approach is to float the mash vessel in a bin of hot water, and wrapping everything up in an old duvet or sleeping bag helps.
