How's it going folks?
I'm a newbie to Brewing, for Christmas the missus got me a ticket to a one day Home Brewing course in a place called Maiden City Brewery here in Derry. To be honest I had no interest but now I'm hooked.
One of the guys running the course subsequently opened his own micro brewery right next door to my work so once I took the plunge i abused this lucky event to get loads of advice. I have some of his brew in my fridge so I'll post photos later. He brews under Rough Brothers & is doing well so far.
Anyhoo, I've brewed two batches of St. Peter's Cream Stout, the second is just about ready for road testing. I also have a batch of Mangrove Jack's Pale Ale to bottle tomorrow, I'm not 100% sure this had worked out.
Obviously these are all from Kits, the thought of moving on is daunting at the minute but I'm sure I'll do it.
