Hello from Berkshire.

I just got back into home wine-making last week after a break of several years (in truth it's more like two decades :? ).

I called into my local home-brewing shop on Monday for some basic wine-making supplies and found myself leaving an hour later with a 25l fermenting vessel, a Better Brew Midland Mild kit, a pack of Muntons spraymalt and the puzzle of where I should keep my new hobby!

There's now a demijohn of Cabernet wine, another of cinnamon-spiced mead and a FV of mild, all bubbling away happily in one of my kitchen cupboards. Just hoping that I've done everything right!

...I also now have a lot of food that needs eating as I seem to have less storage space! :D

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I've realised how dangerous the boards are - here I am, just started brewing my first beer kit and I already want to get all the extra bits so I can have a go at AG!

I have to keep reminding myself that my kitchen isn't big enough and my shed is already full of gardening stuff... and I probably ought to get a lot more practice with kits first!

No no no!! :nono: :nono:

You MUST turn that shed into your brewery!! You owe it to yourself, to us, and to the beer gods!!

No more denial - get it sorted man!! Think of the children for goodness sake!!
