Firstly I just want to say hi to all of you.

I have just got a coopers micro brewery kit (lager kit) Xmas and got my first brew in the fermenter this afternoon.

If you guys could maybe give me a few personal recommendations (with reason) of some kits to use along with the sugar and yeast etc and maybe some additional ingredients to improve my brews, that would be great.
I am particularly into larger and ciders however may brew the odd bitter or stout at some point.

I have posted a question regarding fermenting temperatures, so if anyone could help please have a look in the discussion section.

Thanks and hopefully I can have a good time chatting on here and maybe make some great brews with the help of you people.

Welcome to the forum, you may like the section 'kit reviews', there is quite a lot of info on there for different kits, wine, beer cider etc. Those sections of the forum would be worth reading as most people write down what they used as fermentable, what temps they fermented at, how long it took and how it tasted.

Good luck with your first kit, more will follow soon!!!

Welcome to the forum

In addition to the above, have a read of this. It will give you some good base knowledge :thumb:
