Hi All, Just joined and looking forward to speaking with you.

I've been really lucky over the past 3-4 years in that I've been able to get my Ale from a local brewer at a £1 a pint. Usually taking 2 x 18 polypins each Friday for my pub shed. Recently the prices have soared even for loyal customers like myself. So I thought enough of this and let's start brewing myself. And here I am.....

Regards

Ian

Thanks for the welcome, know Dunfermline well. I had a few good nights out there. Jackie o's and Sinkys I think they were called back in the day. I'm from West Lothian originally but been down in Hampshire nearly 8 years.

Aw the best

Cheers Andy, at first read I new I needed to be on here as a starting out brewer. The amount of info is a bit overwhelming but you can't have too much when starting out...

Aw the best

It would have been The Ballroom if you were drinking in Sinkys (Jackie O's is in Kirkcaldy). The Commercial is my pub of choice when I am up in town.
