Hello,
My name is Al, I’m pleased to have joined The Home Brew Forum. Like many I got into home brewing at start of the 1st lockdown. Around 15 brews BIAB until Santa very kindly dropped a 30 litre Brew Monk down my chimney. First use will be today.
I have a quick question regarding water (which is a perplexing topic at best)... re using Campden Tablets is there any advantage or disadvantage to also using Harris Pure Brew? I have conditioned my approx 30 litres of mash and sparge water (20 litre batch) in one go over night with half a crushed Campden tablet. I was planning on using the Harris Pure Brew when i pitch the yeast. Will this adversely affect my beer using both? Apologies for asking a question on first post!
Many thanks
