Hi everybody, I'm fairly new to brewing myself and have just kicked off with a batch of Beerworks Bohemian Blonde Pils, and plan to start a batch of Uncle Teddy's Yorkshire Bitter in the next week or so.
My grandparents were prolific home brewers, grandad used to make seriously strong ales and the odd spirit, and grandma used to make a wide selection of wines, it helped that my mum worked on a fruit and veg stall so there was always a good supply of fruits to make into wine.

Welcome aboard! Keeping it local with the Yorkshire bitter there I see.
I'm more of an bitter and cider drinker than lagers, although I've started drinking Pils as well over the last 12-18months, and apparently the Uncle Teddy's is very close to Timothy Taylors Landlord bitter so I had to give it a try as it's one of my favourite brews.
