Hi, I have been bitten by the real ale bug so I have taken the plunge into homebrew again. I have brewed wine in the past, but kind of overdid it and got rid of my kit, but have recently been kitting out again and have made a few different ale kits. My favourite bottled beer is Poachers Choice by Badgers, and I have an attempt at my own version conditioning in bottles as we speak, modified from a wherry kit. I have also made an IPA kit and a Green Man kit from Milestone. I have one or two questions which I shall post in the relevant forums, and I hope to become a productive member of your community.

Did you go to the festival the other week? They had to close early because they sold out!

That was the first beer festival I have been to. I only had my first taste of real ale in September and made my first ale in October. I am still learning what ales I really like, but so far only brown ales have disappointed me.

Hello and Welcome,

I went to the Beer festival on Friday afternoon, had some fantastic beers  unfortunately my other half had too many samples so ended up leaving earlier than I want to

Think 16 different beers was too much for her
