This place was recommended to me by a far more experienced brewer than I. He does crazy stuff with a microbrewery of sorts!
I've just returned to brewing after a break of probably 25 years, and must admit things have moved on a LONG way since my last experiences of Boots beer kits, which frankly almost made me consider drinking Coke instead!
I bought a Woodfordes Wherry starter kit, which is now depleted to the tune of about 10 pints, and it compares with pub beer! My wife is now sick of me going on about how the head stays on the beer for the whole of the pint etc etc.
I've just received another Woodfordes kit, the Pale Ale, which I'll be starting tomorrow when I've been up to the spring to collect water.
Yep, I'm lucky enough to live a mile away from one of the Malvern Hills Springs, used by the Malvern Hills Brewery in their rather good beers, so I use that water and if the taste of my Wherry is anything to go by, its a good choice!
Anyway - off to have a read on using things like honey and other stuff to perhaps add a twist to my beers!
Cheers folks! :drink:
