Im about to start my 1st home brew after a long time of threatening to do it, I have been to town on my lunch and purchased a Tom Caxton Real Ale kit and am looking forward to the result

does anyone have any tips or hints for me?

Just off topic slightly...is the military base still active in Kirton ?..I was stationed there in the eighties when I was in the army,there used to be a couple of decent pubs in the village IIRC,can't remember the names tho' :wha:
