Hello from Kent

Hi,like it would seem a lot of people people on the forum,I've used to brew beer kits back in the early to mid 80's.
I have now been brewing again for about a year it started with a large surplus of apples so me and me old dad made a cider press.We ended up with 12 gallons of surprisingly good cider.
Since then i,ve made more cider with suppermarket juice and wine from a kit and also suppermarket juice.
I have also been brewing beer from single can and double can kits mainly coopers IPA very nice amazing howmuch better they are now.
I was first attracted to the site by wursals orange wine I've got all the ingediants and am just off to make some.

Hi just up the road Caterbury in Kent; what HB shops do you use so far I've either shopped on line or good ol uncle Morrison's

Does Morrisons do homebrew stuff?

I've only just moved back to kent post-uni, but I hear there's an HB shop in Ashford that's worth a visit, although looking at their website they look a bit pricey. (google Easy Home Brew)

I'm not familiar with anywhere else in the area yet, but I keep looking!

They used to when the first took over from safways but not any more,however they sell plenty of ingrediants such as fruit and apple juice.
I was hoping to visit the HB shop in Ashford today as I'm over that way but it looks like its shut on Sundays.

Hypnoticmonkey As far as I know Ashford is the only one in the area, I get what I need online, cheaper and most are very quick.

over to you on this one i've just finnised running a welding and fabricating buisnessafter 15 years and am very happy to be employed again some one elses problem now, ah time off and holidays, time to brew and do the simple things in life i can't say how good it feels.
