Hello All,
I am new to brewing, but having spent the last 18 months in Germany drinking (mostly fantastic) German lagers, I have a craving for a proper British pint. Since that's impossible to buy here at a sane price, the plan is to make it myself ..
My initial impression is that home-brewing is less common here, perhaps because beer is so relatively cheap here. Nevertheless, I found a few websites supplying home-brew supplies and most of the kits seem to be either British or Belgian.
Anyway, hope to meet you soon on the forums. I'm sure there will be questions from my side pretty soon.
