Good evening to everyone, So here I am at last! I`ve brewed a few of the coopers aussie lager kits and I have been putting it into 1 ltr pet bottles with good results I think, so do my neighbours{no pun intended} but it is a bind of a job a couple of hours, to clean/sterelise all the bottles then fill each one etc, so would the end result be any better if I buy a keg? plus of course the time saving, will it taste any better? and what else apart from the keg would I need to purchase. thanks for any advise, keith

thanks and yes it is the kwvr, and a glorious place to live too, the stations and lines run from keighley up to oxenhope via ingrow and of course haworth, these are the stations which were used for the filming of `The Railway Children` there are still regular steam train events most weekends and through December there are festive specials.

Welcome on board!
I do a mixture of kegging and bottling, with good results in both... if you keg, you'll need some form of gas unless you're drinking it pretty quickly after first pint; but check out other advice on corny kegs etc on here, lots of different ways forward, none are bad, just different depending on your budget and room and intentions... good luck!

That's something brill....B&W still has it for me....got to find my old Minolta out... :thumb:

Thank you, Its "Top Withens" near Howorth (Wuthering Heights (maybe)) I'm sure victorm is sick of hearing about Bronte though.

This ones Digital I'm afraid; I did love film and I still keep my Old Pentax range finder handy but hasn't been used in years. At least with Digital you can "develop" your own shots without a Lab!

Great pic

I use a Canon EOS 450D, but not as much as I should do

Nice Image, Blocked up in the shadows on the tree for me, If you shot it in RAW you can always process it three times (-2, 0, +2 exposure) and run it through some HDR processing to recover the detail.

I'm a Minolta / Sony User too, (Pair of Dynax 700si's, and an Alpha 100), although for Mono work I tend to stick to my Bronica, or latterly the Speed Graphic . . . Still trying to get a cheap 5 by 4 enlarger though :(

But I spent ages getting it as black as possible! ;) The sun was setting behind the tree so there was this odd two tone effect, Black where the light was blocked and gray where the light made it through a leaf at the edge, it's hard to explain but it gave a strange cheap computer generated effect, I took a bracketed shot at the time but it was no better, so I went for the full silhouette. I like the effect.
People often seem to say when they see my photos "It's very black isn't it" http://www.dpreview.com/galleries/4922244515/albums
