I thought I should give a proper introduction before I start asking to many question.

I've been brewing for about 3 years now, jumped headfirst into it, I started with AG and I haven't looked back since. I originally stumbled across this forum looking for a tower shank for my Celli beer faucet, I still haven't found one. I like the look and feel of this forum so I decided to join up, I figure you boys from across the pond might be able to teach me a thing or two.

One thing I have found about brewing in the UK is that you folks have to pay a shockingly high price for brewing equipment, I will never again complain about having to pay 15.00 US for a cornie keg.

Welcome Friday....glad to have you on board..ask away the guys here will always try to help :thumb:

Don't rub it in about ripoff UK.... we know we live here..I've seen cornis on Ebay.Usa for mere shillings... :( but the postage is a killer...

Well that's the price you pay for being able to get a decent beer at the pub. That's the whole reason I got into home brewing, I'll trade you all my cornies for one bar that serves good traditional ale.

Welcome Friday,

You have me wondering how many cornies you could claim as baggage and carry on luggage, a trip to the US could turn a profit. :D

I'm thinking the same thing to. My wife is from Cambridge I might have to slip a couple into her luggage on her next trip. With all the stuff she packs she might not even notice.
