Well you could, the Finns do and they call it Kilju, although I have tried making it and was seriously unimpressed.

Welcome to the forum

yeah, im in greece. im on on the map. sadly theres no brew shops over here although we are a prolific wine producing area. i got my dad to bring me out my first kit and some yeast etc when he visited on holiday. ;)

Welcome to the forum!

no. sadly i dont like wine. but there is pretty much no such thing as cider or a real ale over here so ive got a lot of prodjects planned to keep me busy!

Neither do i! Wine is a bit of a "EUUUGHH!" for me, but recently i've noticed my home-made wine is very nice compared to supermarket wine. Cider is my favourite drink ever!. I'm a Cornish boy you see (UK) we love our cider! (Spelt Cyder in cornish) well, make "turbo cider?"

its as easy as "chucking together" Apple juice (with no preservatives and a high sugar content (to make the ABV% higher)) yeast and sugar together. and that makes Cider (turbo cider.. which is the same thing.. just quicker and tastes a little different) you can also experiment.. e.g. Mix apple juice with some blackberry juice and make a blackberry cider! there are loads of recipies.. and you can think of any contemplation yourself as well! good luck!

p.s. i reccomend getting a hydrometer. that'll help you in the long run

Cheers

Andy
