Interesting tea trivia.

I’ve been in the Tetlys factory with a former employer, and when yarning to one of the production managers, he stated the best tea went in the bulk catering bags, the sweeping ups went into the retail 1 cups.

So I guess the middle ground are the retail standard bags.
I used to live in Moreton, about a 5 mins walk from the old Cadbury/Typhoo factory. Just an old memory from my youth.......

Cheers Tom

Nope, tried them. Aldi gold too. Tetley gold and standard, Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's. The best of that lot were the Aldi gold but won't be buying any more. In the morning when I make our breakfast and brews I have to dunk the Mrs's used tea bag (Yorkshire ) in my brew to lift it to acceptability. There's about 25 left, the end is in sight 😁
So in the search for an alternative to Yorkshire, as they say on the telly, I'm out.....

Cheers Tom
Have you tried Assam tea, most supermarkets do a version of it, strong malty?
