Just a quick introduction from me to everyone on the forum. I’m Stewart and I have been an all grain homebrewer on and off since I first picked up a copy of Dave Line’s book many moons ago. My current set up is a 35l Brewzilla gen 4 with a stainless steel conical fermenter in a modified fridge with an InkbirdSmart for temp control. I am very lucky to have a “tap room” in the garden with another modified fridge which houses 5 corny kegs. The tap room was christened “The Drunken Spaniel” by my niece in honour of our little girl, Lucy (who doesn’t get drunk I hasten to add).

I hope to be able to help others on this group and also pick up tips and advice, as I am still (and always will be) learning. I am giving up on Facebook, which is where I have been reading and posting for a few years now, hence the reason I have come here.

I had a Virgin Experience gift voucher (no sniggering at the back, thank you) and booked in to a brewery experience day at our local Brewhouse and Kitchen, which I can heartily recommend. I was the only person on my particular day which was fantastic. I got on really well with head brewer and he was delighted to have someone enthusiastic and with a little knowledge, so much so that we kept in touch and he is now the head brewer at a newly opened brewery and tap room very close to where I live. It was great to learn how commercial breweries do things and it’s not too dissimilar to how we do things, just on a larger scale.

I will be checking the forum daily but I still work full time so it may take a while for me to reply to any questions, please bear with me.

Happy brewing everyone!

Cheers.

Many thanks 👍. Indeed you are right, and too many ads, things you might like, friend suggestions etc. Nothing from my actual friends. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I believe we have our fair share of adverts (i don't see them) there is a way of not seeing them if they become annoying ;)
