It was wrong. Played the next bit, definitely the song I thought it was so tried typing it again and 3 artists came up including the one I thought it was.

I had that too. Actually, I searched for another (embarrassingly cheesy) song first which samples this opening riff and fortunately it wasn’t an option at all so went for correct song and then as you described.
