Have I ruined it?!

Hi all, I was pouring myself a pint of my first ever brew, Nelson Reserve earlier from my PB and I'm sure a small amount of air got sucked back up through the valve into the PB, as soon as I'd done it I gave it a blast of CO2, have I ruined the lot or will I get away with it? If it is nakkard how long have I got before its undrinkable? :-?

Well it's a good idea to avoid the `glug of death' but it's probably more of a problem if it starts to happen and you just carry on pouring a couple of pints.
