I have checked my brew this morning and it looks like flat tea! The gravity is 1010 and supposed to be 1050 or below according to he recipe. Do you think I should rack it or give it a bit more time?? How long can I leave it in the brewing bin without causing damage? I don’t want to make a mess at this stage. Thanks anyone

Wow sounds good then? My next question is...Do I need a gas injector valve thingy on my barrel? I`m just off to Wilkinsons to get a barrel. Will it be safe just priming it and fitting the standard screw top?? :D

You will need a cap with s30 valve on it so you can inject some co2 into it when you are struggling to draw a pint off.

Not sure about the standard screw top as I suspect the s30 valve will let co2 out if the pressure is too much for the barrell but I could be talking B#llocks

OMG Just racked it off and it looks like its gonna be perfect!!! I put most into a large polypin and syphoned a few pints into bottles for give aways. In the process I gulped a few tube fulls and it had left a hoppy dryish i need more flavour in my beer hole!! Mmmmmmmm success I feel.
