Hurricane Harvey is approaching. This hawk sought refuge in my taxi and doesn't wish to leave anytime soon. So I guess I'll just allow him to hunker down and ride around with me till he wants to go.

Trying desperately to get him to fly off. He simply refuses to leave. The winds are picking up from Hurricane Harvey.

I'd reckon that the wings were probably "sprained" rather than "broken"; which isn't surprising with winds like they had down there!

Hurricane Irma, meanwhile, is strengthening in the Carribean. Some are predicting it to become the "biggest ever". And you were laughing at "preppers". When the **** comes down at least they'll be ready. Think I've got a four pack of beans in the cupboard. Should be OK in our house, at least.
