just had a sup and this is not half bad, reasonable nose and taste although a little tangy which im not that into, not one for drinking by the bucket load but i very reasonable wine for when you just fancy a glass with dinner,

i have decided that i am going to rebottle into some little 25cl bottles i have for the nice after work or with dinner glass i enjoy

as an overall view it is something that is probably along with the £5 offer wines in the local supermarket and as such i am in no way disapointed with my efforts however its not something i will be making again unless the filling is in offer again

if the ingredients were to be on offer and i do try this again ill probably add a little red grape juice into the mix just to raise the flavour, probably 2 fruit fillings and a RGJ rather than 3 fruit fillings

Pros - a nice enough red that was a bit of fun to make

Cons - cost prohibitive as the ingrediants are not cheap and the quality of the final product does not warant it

if it improves drasticly with age i will update but for now im happy with what i got :thumb:

Thanks for another wine going ontonmy to-do list!

I'll try it with 2 cans and red grape juice.

only thing i found was the goo at the bottom, it tasted rank so racked it off that, got 3L of finished product from a 4.5L demijohn

so worked out at about £1.50 a bottle

i won't be brewing with it but it's very nice with Greek yogurt and it's suddenly become very hard to find in Tesco, Morison's or Sainsbury's.

budgens they are independant supermarkets, you can see if ther is one near you here but i would look also in co-op and the likes, usually with all the baking stuff[/quote:3w33td1a]

Sorry for the late reply. Never heard of them but wil try to find a CoOp.
