After foraging the cupboards I've found a 1kg harrods xmas pudding. I have a sort of cider on the go following Andy Hamiltons recipe. I've seen mincemeat recipes for tc. What I was wondering is could I heat up the pudding in some of the cider then add it when I rack to a 10 litre pet. I have 20 litres of the cider so don't mind experimenting. I hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any advice.

Why not just add a small bag of spices to the PET. Leave to steep and remove when you have reached the right spiceyness.

Save the pud for christmas!.

we always save Christmas pud for years to mature
they do improve with age just like wine :)

i would keep the pud for Christmas as suggested above
find something else to spice your cider :thumb:
