I too was up until 1:30 and like Chippy toasted the New Year in with Prosecco.

Got up at 12:17 pm when SWMBO shouted, i think i would still be asleep if she hadn't.
I had rather a bit too much rum.

We were up to 3 am. My daughter turned 25 and her very talented boyfriend is a pub singer and entertained us untill we all had to go to bed. The tradition is also to have Prosecco at 12. And then celebrate the birthday
Happy New Year all. I was up around 10 doing battle with the kitchen whilst everyone slept it off. I stopped at midnight (dodgy stomach), the rest managed to keep going until 2:45. Was glad of the early stop when I woke up
