Most weeks Tues to Thurs will work for me. I suggest tou wait a couple of days for other inputs then pick a date/place that should work for you and most others and let the rest of us see if we can make that work for us too. just try and pick somewhere near a station with decent beer at a reasonable price. Once we know the numbers likely to attend we can plan to bring a bottle of our own to swap with each other participant.

Ok. If we put it to a december / late november meet up we may be able to get more numbers. Im just thinking if we had more numbers we might be able to sort a better place.

In December, folk tend to have Christmas events and shopping on their minds and pubs get busier so November is probably a better bet. I think the key thing is to meet even if it is only a few of us to begin with. If it is fun/interesting/helpful (which I think it will be) then it will build from there and more folk will join us. How about ‘spoons in Guildford or Woking - both reasonably close to a station, have cheap beer, food, plenty of room and the tables are numbered so we should be able to find one another easily?

I was thinking of a bottle swap and taking away to drink. Difficult to arrange to drink homebrew on licensed premises. I think drinking there and then would mean hiring a room, having a homebrew friendly landlord ...or following your park suggestion!
