I've still got my old collection of basic kit. Fortunately have also found a homebrew shop inside a chemists (Park Lane, Romford) so useful for supplies. I made a batch of ordinary bitter at xmas using a very old tin of malt...from 1997...which worked surprisingly well with fresh yeast. Will keep on experimenting.
