Hey everyone,

Just made me think from reading a seperate thread - is there any kits out there which almost replicate guiness? - I know you can do this with AG brewing, but is there any kits that will do this?

Cheers

the only kit that i've had that was remotely close was John Bull masterclass stout. was more like murphy's... but bloody lurvely :thumb:

Sounds pretty damn good!

Can see some on brew-it-yourself.co.uk .... Hopefully they'll still be in stock when I get paid! (Although someone says in the review that the company has just gone bust)

Got some friends who love guiness, and if I can convince them you can make it at home they might be converted to homebrew!

Gets annoying sometimes. Someone says "Oh, you brewed that yourself? - I bet its fecking strong!!!" - Errr, no not really!

-- Strange misconceptions!

yeah! i used to get that all the time. one of my mates came round and sampled one of my first AGs and was like "am i gunna fall over after two pints" my answer was "no it's only 4.8%"... his reply was "how sure are you that it's 4.8%" ***sigh***

he's now converted :D
