Hello all,
I have recently received *many* 64 fl. oz. glass growler bottles that were my dad's. He collected them everywhere he lived or visited in the USA, from about 2010-2024. Unfortunately for this forum's focus, I am in the United States, in the mid-Atlantic (Washington, DC) area.
I would like to know if anyone in the beer brewing (or collecting) community might know anyone near Washington who may want these -- before we cart them all to the local glass recycling.
I probably can't ship them - there are a LOT (a hundred?) and they are all glass - but I'd be willing to drive a fair distance away to meet up with and transfer these to someone who would use them. They are currently sitting in 6-partition liquor bottle boxes - stable for driving, but not padded for shipping.
If no one here wants them...do you have any suggestions of what other community or kinds of groups might want them?
(I also have several boxes of his bottle and can collection, but there are fewer of those.)
Thank you all for any ideas you might want to share. - Maggie
