Growing my own hops

ordered my fuggles rhyzome for the planting of.... i'll be getting a challanger rhyzome too once my bank account recovers from xmas... I hope I'll be confident enough and lucky enough to use my own hops to brew with

My fuggle is twelve months old, only had a few flowers on it this year, fed it plenty and am hoping for a good crop next September :pray:

I read that they don't really produce the first year... They will look darned pretty on my allotment though

Adiecain have you seen the thread on here about growing them.....can't seem to find it :wha:

Last year kind brewers where splitting their rhizomes and giving them away for post and packaging, hopefully they'll do the same this winter
