Are the IKEA bottles pressure vessels?

IKEA have them 1lt bottles

£2 each.

Wilko have 6x swing top 500ml bottles for £9. £1.50 each. 1L version £2 each.

These FOUR on e-bay are being sold for $21.95. I don't know who's going to buy them; they aren't filled with gold and there's no genie inside. I bought 40 bottles on Craigslist (it's like Gumtree) and over-paid--$1.50 per bottle--but I needed them badly and in a timely fashion.

And those will hold up to carbonation? I'll have to check them out. If they're clear, it doesn't matter since mine all sit in the dark until I drink them.

I live in central Scotland and have been brewing several years. I recently started drinking Grolsch so i could keep the swingtop bottles.

recently i cant get them. The local Morrisons, sainsburys, Asda no longer stock Grolsch at all. Is this a country-wide thing? I even joined Booker Cash & Carry as they had them advertised on their website but when i went in to buy they were out of stock and an assistant informed me there was a "supplier issue".

Is this the end of the swing-top Grolsch bottle?

Anyone know where i can get swing-tops with beer in? I quite enjoy drinking them first and would be loathe to have to buy empty lass bottles!

Think i read on here that the swing tops are no longer available. I live in Fife and they are nowhere to be seen
