I'm pretty new to homebrewing, been doing kits mainly but I'm looking to go to partial soon. Don't think the Mrs will let me go all grain but you never know if I can get some gear on the cheap.

Might need advice on good recipes for partials soon.

Welcome, tell the misuss if she lets you go ag each pint will only cost you about 20p instead of 50p ish for a kit.

& that because you will spend less money overall by not buying tins/bottles in the supermarket cos you will be drinking this new wonderful beer you have been brewing, she will have more money to spend on make up and the hairdressers.

The above statement is obviously a complete load of b*llocks apart from the 20p per pint ingredient costs) because soon as you get the coolbox etc sorted the shiny fever strikes :shock: :shock: :shock: :shock: oooooooooooo shiny shiny shiny.
