hi everyone im new to the forums and just had a quick question.
in the past i have brewed a batch of lager and it came out fine so this time i tried using a bitter. i used a norfolk wherry homebrew kit.
iv just siphoned out the beer into the pressure barell and noticed that in the primary fermentation tank there was a thick layer of green slime/mould at the bottom?! im pretty sure that this means that the beer has gone off and is undrinkable? but what could i have done wrong? i thought i had sterilized everything very well
:wha:
if anyone can help then thanks in advance!
