Thanks for accepting me into the fold.
I planted hops (fuggles) on my allotment a couple of years ago and the plants started producing last year so after buying a useless fermenting bin from Boyes, I scrambled around on eBay for some equipment I could use. Having got the basics and accumulated bottles, I bought a few cans of malt extract and dived in. The hops were used fresh, then after harvest, frozen and by a process of trial and error I have started producing some reasonable beer. I have since bought 20kg of malt extract and having decided the venture is going to continue into the future, joined this group so I can start doing it properly!
