Welcome to the forum.
Look at all the opposition rather than just the Grainfather, plenty as good and cheaper IMO
What he said. Can in particular the klarstein Pro. Very nice and sensible money.

Today grasshopper you learn somthing very important. "There is no one way to make beer and there is no one answer on a forum"😁

late to reply as usual 🤦‍♂️🥴
some amazing answers there lads n lasses.
just adding 10p worth.
i must summarise after 10 years owing a G30 & now a G30 connect aswell, both sand the test of time!
2ndly the first one HAS PAID FOR ITSELF!
not once have we contacted customer services, even they i’m told are good.
99% problems was user error.
upgrades over the years were good, slow but now i feel they upped there game.
i could even in my vers 1, things like rolled plates, connect to replace sTC 200.
noticeably is the new malt pipe! think it’s going to put in the connect (Number 2 G30)
reliability, and spare parts (i’ve only replaced a lid i dropped )
budget was tight but i’m chuffed i made the decision, not only once but twice.
don’t get me wrong! i still dream for the NEXT BEST SYSTEM! but so far Grainfather hasn’t let me down.
HAPPY BREWNG
