Grain bill question

Bit of a newbie question here (1st AG completed last week), having weighed out my 25kg sack of MO into 4 x 5kg batches I found that my final batch was only 4kg (dodgy scales I guess) rashly I topped it up with a kilo of dark crystal.

Just wondering how it might turn out, I'm concerned it might be a bit on the sweet side. I'm considering some Fuggles in the boil for a dark English style beer...or am I way off?

It would be worth downloading something like brewmate or putting the 'recipe' into beer smith online. They will tell you estimated colour and OG.

Without the benefit of either I can tell you what it will turn out like - beer ;-)

20% dark crystal is a lot. Can you scoop it out or is it mixed in?

Could probably scoop most of it out, it's in a clip seal polythene bag.

I am a fan of dark beer and don't mind a bit of sweetness, but you think 20% might be overkill?
