I have 2.4kg of red and green gooseberries in my freezer. Initially I was going to make a Philly sour beer with some in it or make a MJ apple cider kit with some added to it, but I was wondering if there's some better route I could go using the lot of them? Could I make a cider from scratch with them or would the kit be the best base for it?

Cheers all. Might stick with the sour for some of it (I used 800g of fruit in the same brew before a couple of times) and then the rest on something edible rather than for drinking.
