Goldings hop powder

Hello all , got my second brew kit this Friday opted for a woodfordes admirals reserve and will proceed get it on this Friday , before I do it though I have this question. Is the GoldIngs hop powder a no go ? I have read on the net a few times people mentioning this can do more harm then good. Have you have any experience using it ?

I used it when I did the Admiral's Reserve and that came out very well. I can't see what harm it would do...more likely that you'd end up with a bland uninteresting brew without it.

i added mine and its turened out a very good pint .the only problem is the barrel is almost empty need to brew more :lol:

Admirals and the woodfordes range as a whole are very malty and heavy. Add it in, it balances it nicely and gives loads of hop aroma :)

Thanks for the replies gents , it's obvious then these people who have had so called bad experiences with it have pitched it at the wrong time etc. I will be adding it for sure.
