Glycerol is glycerine if that helps but the cough stuff usually has other ingredients not just pure glycerol

i have not used a campden tablet should it make a difference?

Depends on what you're making and what stage it's at. Give us a clue.

i am making 25 litres of ribena wine as pursued by so many!

I am obviously reading new posts in completely the wrong order here :(

Alandkell: No, you wouldn't use a CT until first racking when fermentation has finished and it has started to clear.

HEHE KEEPING YA ON YA TOES ARENT I MOLEY! THANX FOR ALL REPLIES HAVE TAKEN ON BOARD AND HOPEFULLY WILL REMEMBER ALL ADVICE BUT CANT PROMISE I HAVE HAD A FEW MYSELF......

If you ask me there isnt any need to add glycerine to a Ribena wine. Ive made it with and without and you cant tell any difference between the two.
