So I'm the bloke who never wins anything ever and I backed off getting an Inkbird for Xmas to pick one up in the January sales (tighter than a sharks a** at 20 fathoms). And guess what turns up today as a mystery prize, and two flashing light things (Christmas lights for the FV). I'd just like to say a huge thanks to the team at Inkbird, when I heard the box had arrived I couldn't get home quick enough and when I opened it I was like a kid on Christmas morning and being 53 it's been a good few years since that happened. I bottled last night so I'll be getting a brew on ,on Boxing Day and it gets christened then . Absolutely over the moon!!

So I received an Inkbird unit last week, and thought that that was my entire prize and I was chuffed.

Anyway, today I came home from Tesco to find these through the door!

Inkbird Mystery Gift arrived today.. And it was a very pleasant surprise too,

It included a pair of funky light up specs which will get donned next brewday

An Inkbird 308 without the temp probe,

And

A BBQ thermometer with 2 x probes


I only had a few minutes to open the pack today, I will take a few snaps and report back on any success i get with using a BBQ thermometer probe with the temp controller
