Allo, newbie here. I recently made some crystalized ginger for me nana and was left with a large jar of ginger syrup that's gathering dust in my cupboard.
Would this be suitable to add to my wort to create some form of experimental ginger flavour? Or would the ph be affected too much as it was fresh ginger?or best adding it before bottling the brew?
Ideas and input welcomed!

you can add tonnes of ginger to beer and it's all good.

use it! the flavours stays on really well and it'll get less sharp the longer you age it. i'd add some pre and post fermentation personally. maybe even in the glass, hom.

cheers fellas, i shall take it under consideration and let you know how the experiments turn out! I think rather than risk ruining a batch i might add some flavours as I bottle and try it.
